Home Portraits

No matter if a home is a grand mansion or a simple, modest structure…

It’s a special place where memories are built… there’s truly no place like home!

Debbie’s watercolor of the Texas Governor’s Mansion is being used as Governor Greg Abbott’s official stationery.

What About Reference Photos?

Debbie always prefers to take her own photos, but if you live outside of Amarillo, that’s not always possible. In that case, you provide 6-10 reference photos of your home via text or email.

NOTE: In submitting photos to Debbie, you are indicating that you are the photographer and/or owner with all rights to the original photos and that you grant her full permission to use the photos to create your painting.

As you provide reference pictures, you’ll note which ones have the most accurate coloring of your home (since this can vary greatly with sunlight and time of day).

Panoramic shots that show the home in its context plus several zoom-in shots, all taken from one vantage point across the street from the home, are necessary.

When Do I Pay For My Portrait?

Unless otherwise specified, payment in full- with the exception of shipping cost- is expected upon order. Shipping costs are due upon delivery. Payments may be made online using the link below.

What If I Don’t Like My Painting?

Debbie’s work is fully guaranteed. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the painting, simply return it within 14 days in its original packaging for a refund.

How Long Does This Take?

Debbie can let you know where your painting is in the queue, but typically, it takes 3-4 weeks from time of order to time of delivery. Due to the rush at Christmas, November 15th is the last day Christmas orders are guaranteed for delivery before December 25th. If you are working with a deadline, please let Debbie know about it and she will make every effort to meet it. (NOTE: A rush fee may be required.)

Are Gift Certificates Available?

Certainly! Just fill out the form below and Debbie can make that happen for you.
